Our goal is to maintain continuity of care. We understand how important having a consistent caregiver is to making home care successful. On occasion, it may take a few days to find the right fit and availability, but our goal is establish a consistent team to provide care.
You can rely on the support of your dedicated Care Coordinator. One of the many services they provide is locating and placing substitute caregivers, when needed. In the event that your regular caregiver is out sick or has a planned day off, your coordinator will secure a replacement caregiver so you are never without care.
Clients of Capital City Nurses Healthcare Services receive one weekly invoice for services provided. Payments are made directly to Capital City Nurses Healthcare Services and can be made automatically via ACH debit or credit card. Agency caregivers are paid overtime if they work in excess of 40 hours within one week.
Registry clients pay their caregivers directly, usually by check. Clients pay Capital City Nurses Registry a referral fee separately. The referral fee is a per visit fee. These referral fees are made automatically via ACH debit or credit card and charges are billed biweekly.
Rates vary depending on which option a client chooses, geographic area, level of care, and number of hours scheduled. Rates are the same day and night and overtime is billed to the client when applicable. Holidays are billed at 1 ½ time normal rate. Call us any time for more detail on your specific situation.
Capital City Nurses is private pay for all services. Long Term Care will reimburse for our services in most cases. We are happy to help facilitate reimbursement for our clients.
Capital City Nurses Healthcare Services is a licensed and bonded home care agency which employs a wide variety of professionally trained caregivers to provide one-on-one home care. All care providers are employees of Capital City Nurses Healthcare Services and care is supervised by a Registered Nurse. The company invoices clients for service.
Capital City Nurses Registry acts as a caregiver referral service. The registry staff helps clients and families locate qualified, independent Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Registered Nurses (RNs), and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide one-on-one care in the home. Clients pay the caregivers directly and a pay separate referral fee to Capital City Nurses Registry.

If you feel your caregiver is not the very best fit for you, simply call our office to speak with your dedicated care coordinator. We will work with you to ensure your needs are met, even if it means locating a new caregiver.
