Private duty home care - Registry
Capital City Nurses Registry
Capital City Nurses Registry is a caregiver referral service founded in 1976. The Registry staff helps clients and families locate qualified, independent Certified Nursing Assistants, Registered Nurses, and Licensed Practical Nurses to provide one-on-one care at home or in other medical facilities. Our Registry consists of thoroughly vetted and screened nurses and qualified certified nursing assistants, who are available for both long and short-term care. All care providers go through a vetting process, background checks, license verification and health screens. Furthermore, they are required to maintain their credentials as members of the Registry. Registry members are not employees of the Registry. In fact, Registry members are sole proprietors who have their own Tax ID numbers and operate under your supervision or that of your care manager; the Registry does not supervise them.
Over the last 40 years, we have assisted thousands of families to find exceptional and reliable caregivers.
Each client is assigned a designated care consultant who is an expert at locating caregivers that meet your needs clinically and are a personality match. They are an invaluable resource for families and caregivers. Your care consultant will keep the lines of communication between you and your caregivers open, will offer replacement caregivers when needed and communicate regularly with you to help make your home care experience successful.
Caregivers are compensated directly by the client and Capital City Nurses Registry charges a fee for its referral services. A referral fee is charged for each visit by a caregiver.
A great option if you are looking for:
- The most economical option for high-quality home care
- Caregivers to support family-directed care
- Help when a care plan is already in place, such as during hospice care, in assisted living, or when a care manager is involved.
- Care for the short-term only
- Support from experienced coordinators
- Help scheduling and locating replacement caregivers when needed.
Capital City Nurses Registry is licensed by the State of Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as a nursing referral service agency (NRSA) as Tri-Cities Nurses Registry (License #070508).
