From the founding of our referral service in 1976 to the care we provide your family today, we remain dedicated to serving the various home and elder care needs of you and your loved ones.
Decades ago, Susan Rogers was a registered nurse who knew exactly how challenging it was to care for an elderly parent in her own home. She made the decision to help families obtain the assistance they need for the best in-home care, while also helping clients maintain independence and dignity. This was her mission then and is the mission of Capital City Nurses’ companies to this very day.
Understanding the processes and details around home care can be difficult, especially during an emotionally draining time. We are here to help make things simpler, and to put the focus on the needs of your family.
First, we provide and refer only highly trained and experienced caregivers. Both nurses and nursing assistants are subject to rigorous screening to ensure both skill and character.
Second, our caregivers are supported by a network of knowledgeable and dedicated care coordinators. These are the people that make certain you are getting all you need from your caregiver and our services. Both you and your caregiver work directly with a care coordinator on a continual basis.
Personalized service is essential. Every family’s situation is different, and we tailor your service by matching you carefully with your caregiver and continually checking to see that the services are meeting your needs. In addition, we provide a number of service options, and make a list of caregivers and choices available to you for selection.
